Catherine Sawoski is a writer and critic based in New York City. She specializes in theater and literature, and is interested in site-specific work, paradox, and aesthetics. She is a contributor to Culturebot, IMPULSE Magazine, and The Brooklyn Rail, and her work has been featured in 3Views on Theater, The Cape Cod Compass, The Drift, The Harvard Review, and elsewhere. Catherine is a graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University, where she studied English and Philosophy and graduated with honors. She enjoys theater in basements, used bookstores, and her goldendoodle, Amber. Originally from Rhode Island, she now lives in Manhattan.
